The Soybean Processors Association of India (SOPA) Chairman visits TPCI
The Soybean Processors Association of India (SOPA), Chairman, Dr. Davish Jain, visited TPCI today. He is also the Vice Chairman, Prestige Education Society. During his meeting, Dr. Jain shared his valuable industry prospective on soybean exports and its contribution as India’s farm produce. Dr. Jain is also the active member of the PM’s committee for doubling the farmers’ income by 2022. TPCI members who participated included; Mr. Suresh Kumar Makhijani, IFS (Retd.), Joint Director General, TPCI, Mr. Ashok Sethi, Director, TPCI, Mr. Sameer Pushpa, Director, Media & Corporate Communications, TPCI and Ms. Sneha Varma, Executive Officer, TPCI.
SOPA is the only national level body representing the soybean processors, farmers, exporters and brokers in India working towards the aim to strengthen soybeans as a viable crop. The main objective of SOPA is to encourage the development and promotion of Soy-Based products in the interest of the farmers as well as the processors.
