Government considering PLI scheme for furniture sector to ramp up manufacturing

The authorities is considering a Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme for sure kinds of furniture to increase home manufacturing, and exports and create jobs within the sector, reported PTI citing an official. The proposal is on the dialogue stage, the official added.
