Centre extends foreign trade policy by 6 months : Industry awaits revamped policy that will clear many roadblocks
The Indian government in consultation with stakeholders has decided to put off the much awaited new Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) by another 6 months. The five-year FTP (2015-2020) was extended from April to March 2020, when the Centre announced that the new policy would be deferred by one whole year because the of the upheavals caused by “unprecedented” Covid-19 pandemic.
