TPCI hosts Indusfood Manufacturing & inaugural Indusfood Agritech 2025

The much-anticipated Indusfood Manufacturing 2025 and the inaugural edition of Indusfood Agritech 2025 took place from January 9-11, 2025, at the state-of-the-art India International Expo and Convention Centre, Yashobhoomi in Dwarka, New Delhi. Organized by the Trade Promotion Council of India (TPCI) in association with the India Exposition Mart Limited (IEML), these events brought together key stakeholders from across the globe, highlighting India’s rising prominence in food manufacturing and agritech sectors.

TPCI successfully organized Indusfood Manufacturing and the inaugural edition of Indusfood Agritech 2025 at Yashobhoomi, Dwarka from 9th to 11th January 2025. The events, concurrent with the 8th edition of Indusfood marked a momentous leap for Asia’s premier F&B trade exhibition, expanding its ambit across the farm to fork value chain.

The events were inaugurated by the Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, Shri Jitin Prasada, who was joined by Mohit Singla, Chairman of TPCI; Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Chairman of IEML; Ms Monika Gauba, Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Commerce and Industry; and Vijay Kumar Gauba, Additional Director General, TPCI. The inauguration witnessed the presence of industry leaders, technology innovators, buyers, and stakeholders from across the world. The events were supported by Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmer’s Welfare and Department of Animal Husbandry & Dairying,  Government of India.

In his keynote address, the Minister emphasized the pivotal role of India as a global hub for value-added food products, a transformation enabled by robust government policies fostering modern infrastructure, streamlined supply chains, and employment opportunities in the food processing sector. “This platform, Indusfood Manufacturing and Indusfood Agritech, highlights India’s growing expertise in cutting-edge processing machinery, sustainable packaging solutions, and innovative food ingredients, aligning with global demands for quality and efficiency,” he remarked.

He also underscored the Prime Minister’s vision of making India the “global basket,” aiming for every dining table worldwide to feature at least one Made-in-India food product. He further elaborated on the transformative potential of artificial intelligence and data analytics in revolutionizing the food manufacturing and agritech sectors, driving innovations in supply chain optimization and business intelligence.

A Convergence of Innovation and Opportunity

Indusfood Manufacturing 2025 marked its fourth edition as a premier platform for showcasing India’s prowess in food processing and allied sectors. The event hosted four co-located sub-shows:

  1. Indusfood Packaging: Focused on sustainable and innovative packaging solutions essential for modern food supply chains. The sub-show highlighted the latest advancements in biodegradable and recyclable packaging, aligning with global sustainability goals.
  2. Indusfood Technology: Showcased cutting-edge machinery and technological solutions driving efficiency and precision in food processing, from farm to fork.
  3. Indusfood Hospitality: Presented an array of solutions for the hospitality industry, including kitchen technologies, food safety systems, and service innovations, underscoring the intersection of food manufacturing and hospitality.
  4. Indusfood Ingredients: Highlighted the critical role of ingredients in ensuring food quality and taste, showcasing a wide range of natural and synthetic ingredients catering to diverse culinary needs worldwide.

The inaugural Indusfood Agritech 2025 emerged as a testament to the evolving agricultural landscape, with a focus on integrating modern technologies to enhance productivity, sustainability, and resilience. Mohit Singla, Chairman of TPCI, noted that the farm-to-fork concept was central to the event’s vision. “It is vital to gather and bring all existing and upcoming technologies, innovations, and partnerships across the world to the industry,” he said, emphasizing the seamless integration of agriculture, manufacturing, and finished food under the Indusfood umbrella.

Two significant conferences added immense value to the events, serving as key platforms for knowledge sharing and strategic discussions:

  1. India International Agritech Summit: This summit focused on the integration of cutting-edge agricultural technologies to enhance productivity and sustainability in farming practices. The conference brought together global agritech experts, policymakers, and industry leaders to discuss advancements in precision farming, digital agriculture, and sustainable solutions to tackle the challenges faced by modern agriculture. Topics ranged from AI-driven crop management to water conservation techniques, emphasizing India’s role in revolutionizing the agritech landscape.
