The Trade Promotion Council of India (TPCI), in collaboration with Simplus Exim & Corporate Advisory LLP, has launched the ‘Exim Growth & Success Accelerator’—a specialized capacity-building initiative aimed at enabling Indian MSMEs to unlock their true export potential.
With India’s exports surpassing the $770 billion mark, the role of MSMEs in sustaining this momentum has never been more critical. However, despite their significant contribution to domestic manufacturing, fewer than 10% of MSMEs currently participate in global trade. TPCI and Simplus aim to change that.
The newly launched Exim Growth & Success Accelerator is a first-of-its-kind, execution-driven training and advisory initiative designed specifically for MSMEs. It goes beyond conventional learning to provide actionable guidance, structured implementation support, and strategic direction aligned with India’s Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2023.
The accelerator focuses on demystifying key export enablers such as compliance, pricing strategies, documentation, policy execution, and market diversification. Participants will gain access to role-specific modules, practical toolkits, and trade intelligence to help them confidently navigate Customs, FEMA regulations, global fairs, and digital commerce platforms.
Key features of the program include training on schemes like RoDTEP and EPCG, support for building pricing and negotiation capabilities, and access to global B2B missions. The initiative also emphasizes the importance of sustainable and tech-driven exports, including the use of e-commerce and digital channels.
An MoU formalizing the partnership was signed by Virat Bahri, Joint Director, TPCI, and Anand Mirani, Director & Lead Advisor, Simplus, marking a shared commitment to strengthening the MSME export ecosystem.
The Exim Growth & Success Accelerator is expected to roll out its first sessions in the coming weeks.
