Currently, India ranks second globally in fruit and vegetable production. However, it is startling that despite being a leading fruits and vegetable producer, India’s share in global horticulture exports amounts to just 1.7% in vegetables and 0.5% in fruits. On the other hand, the US, China, Netherlands and Spain have emerged as top exporters of horticultural products and enjoy significant access in the markets of top importing countries.

This webinar explored the major challenges, export promotion opportunities and possible roadmaps for policy makers and industry to address India’s low presence in international trade and value chains.
