India makes strong statement at Japan IT Week

The India Pavilion, organised by the Trade Promotion Council of India (TPCI), was inaugurated by H.E. Mr. Sibi George, Hon’ble Ambassador of India to Japan, at Japan IT Week Tokyo—Asia’s premier B2B tech showcase. TPCI organised a 35-member business delegation for this event, with the objective of promoting partnership opportunities, exploring market potential, and positioning India as a global IT powerhouse.

Mr. Sibi George, Hon’ble Ambassador of India to Japan, marking a significant milestone in India’s ongoing push to expand its global IT footprint. The Pavilion has been set up by the Trade Promotion Council of India (TPCI) and features a 35-member strong Indian business delegation representing a dynamic mix of IT innovators and solution providers.

Also present at the inaugural ceremony were Mr. Karun Bansal, Counsellor (Commerce), and Mr. Anil Raj, President of the Indian IT Association in Japan. Their presence underscored the strong bilateral ties and the growing opportunities for Indian IT companies in the Japanese and broader Asian markets.

India Pavilion serves as a strategic platform to showcase the country’s cutting-edge capabilities in the IT sector. With Japan’s growing demand for digital transformation, the Pavilion facilitates B2B engagement, investment collaboration, and technology transfer opportunities.
