India Oceania Buyer seller Meet

With the assistance of the Indian High Commission in Australia, the Trade Promotion Council of India (TPCI) is organising a Food and Beverage Industry delegation to Australia for 25 Indian companies in an effort to significantly advance and expand the Indian F&B Industry. This delegation’s main priorities are B2B meetings (with pertinent importers, wholesalers, medium- and large-scale purchasers, Chambers of Commerce, etc.) and B2G talks (with provincial governments & regulators).

India has exported goods valued USD 3.4 billion in 2021, accounting for 7% of Australia’s total imports of food and beverage products from around the globe. From 2016 to 21, India’s F&B exports saw a compound annual growth rate of 8.5%. 75% percent of India’s F&B basket is exported to Australia and includes coffee, tea, mate and spices, cereals, miscellaneous edible preparations, vegetable, fruit, and nut preparations, organic and Health food, non-alcoholic beverages, wine & spirits, pulses & grains, and preparations of cereals and oilseeds.

The Indian F&B industry has a great deal of potential and room to grow its export market share given its percentage of Australia’s overall F&B imports from the aforementioned product categories. In order to start or grow a business in Australia, this platform will help establish connect directly with Australian importers to the following categories of Indian manufacturers and exporters: Indian Ethnic & Snacks, Ready to Eat/Cook, Organic Food & Cereals, Tea, Coffee, Sweets, Bakery & Confectionery, Spices, Rice, Fruits & Vegetables, Vegan Food. Wine & Spirits etc.
