TPCI organised a high impact webinar on Building India’s Cookware Export Engine on December 3. Helmed by a distinguished cross section of speakers, the session delivered timely and practical insights for cookware exporters seeking to expand their international presence.

The session opened by highlighting the sector’s current momentum: India’s cookware exports have crossed the US$1 billion mark, with growing acceptance across key markets such as the US, EU, Middle East, and APAC. Participants received a comprehensive understanding of how global sourcing preferences are shifting—towards toxin-free materials, high-durability cookware, induction-ready designs, sustainable coatings, and premium aesthetics. These insights provided a strong foundation for Indian manufacturers to evaluate product diversification and innovation-led positioning.

• Aditya Agrawal (P•TAL) shared how craftsmanship, heritage materials, and premiumisation can create strong brand equity in global markets.

• Madhumitha U. (The Indus Valley) outlined the growing consumer shift to chemical-free, health-focused cookware and its export implications.

• Naiyya Saggi (EDT) offered perspectives on product innovation and the role of new-age kitchen tech in catalysing brand differentiation worldwide.

• Ravi Gupta (Etail Consultants) and Ketan Bagga provided a ground-up view of e-commerce export readiness—covering catalog optimisation, platform strategy, fulfilment, compliance, and digital market discovery.

• Vladimir Reznichenko (Joom Marketplace) presented a detailed lens on opportunities in underpenetrated markets across the CIS region, Europe, and Israel, supported by marketplace-driven demand analytics.

• Viswanath S (Stelcore Group) highlighted logistics, trade facilitation, and operational efficiencies required for scale.

The session was co-moderated by Virat Bahri, Joint Director, TPCI and Shruti Agarwal, Founder, XportCircle.
