The Trade Promotion Council of India, in collaboration with LabelBlind, organised a webinar on “Food Labelling: Opportunities and Compliance for Indian Exporters.” The session underscored that accurate labelling is not just a regulatory requirement but also a strategic tool for enhancing global market access and building consumer trust.
The keynote was delivered by Dr. Rashida Vapiwala, Founder of LabelBlind Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai, who brings over two decades of expertise in food science, nutrition, and regulatory compliance. A pioneer in digitising domestic and export food labelling regulations, Dr. Vapiwala highlighted how compliance can be transformed into a competitive advantage.
She also introduced FoLSol, LabelBlind’s flagship digital SaaS platform, which is revolutionising food labelling compliance across Packaged Food, Fresh Food, E-commerce, and Exports. By replacing manual processes with AI-driven, end-to-end workflows, FoLSol enables regulatory teams to create, validate, and approve labels faster, with zero compliance gaps.
The session offered exporters practical insights, key learnings, and actionable direction to strengthen their global trade journey through smarter and more efficient labelling practices.
