India – UK – Europe Buyer-Seller Meet

The Trade Promotion Council of India (TPCI) is pleased to announce the India–UK Buyer Seller Meet (BSM), bringing together leading Indian food & beverage (F&B) exporters and prominent UK importers, distributors, and retail chains. This high-powered B2B engagement comes at a historic moment — following the finalisation of the India–UK Free Trade Agreement (FTA) on October 1, 2025.

With the UK recognised as a premium, high-value, and trend-sensitive market, the FTA ushers in a new era of bilateral trade relations, offering duty-free access for most major Indian F&B exports and phased tariff reductions on UK’s premium products.

Why Participate India – UK – Europe Buyer Seller Meet?

  • Maximise FTA advantages: Cereals, spices, tea, coffee, seafood, and processed foods now enjoy zero-duty access to the UK.
  • Tap into high-growth niches: Ethnic, organic, plant-based, health-oriented, and ready-to-eat segments are in rising demand.
  • Connect with premium buyers: Engage directly with UK-based importers, modern trade chains, and specialty retailers.
  • Strengthen competitiveness: Leverage simplified rules of origin, faster approvals, and reduced compliance costs.

India–UK F&B Trade Snapshot

  • India’s F&B exports to UK (2019–2024): Grew from US$ 690.4 million to US$ 966.1 million (CAGR 6.9%).

Opportunities Post-FTA

  • Zero tariffs on Indian cereals, spices, tea, coffee, seafood, and processed food exports.
