Govt, exporters hope USTR goes slow on retaliatory levy

NEW DELHI: The federal government and exporters are hoping that the US Commerce Consultant (USTR) goes sluggish on the proposed retaliatory tariff on 40 gadgets, together with basmati rice , shrimps and a number of other gems and jewelry merchandise, in response to India’s digital service tax (DST).
