Reliance launches WhatsApp Order Booking Service
Reliance JioMart has introduced a new dedicated WhatsApp Order Booking Service for customers to order essential goods more conveniently during the lockdown. The e-commerce platform comes with the promise of delivering the goods to the nearest kirana store of the customer within 48 hours.
The recently launched service is under pilot testing it in select areas in Maharashtra – Navi Mumbai, Thane and Kalyan. The delivery service requires users are to save the dedicated number (+91 88500 08000) on their phones to be able to chat with the business account. Customers will receive a text message asking them to head to the kirana store (- for which a Google Maps link will also be sent to help them locate the place) and collect the delivery. Payment for the same can be at the the time of pickup. Further, JioMart does not come with any minimum order value, express-delivery, and “no-questions-asked” return policy.
