India-Israel collaboration will boost innovation

Incorporating best practices and policies from countries like Israel will be crucial for India to accelerate innovation, according to a high-level delegation of India’s apex software industry lobby NASSCOM. The delegation was on a three-day “Innovation Discovery” tour to Israel from January 19-21, and saw several possible collaboration opportunities between India and Israel in areas such as agriculture and mobility. Keshav Murugesh, Chairman of NASSCOM Group & CEO, WNS Global Services, admitted that he is impressed by the right ecosystem for startups in Israel. “Ecosystems are key for startups to scale and innovate. The visit to Israel has helped us to understand and appreciate the interconnected ecosystem that the country offers across government, VCs, accelerators, and startups,” he told PTI.
