Govt to promote MSMEs: Nitin Gadkari
Speaking at the first-ever Bunts Star Achievers Awards 2020, Union minister Shri Nitin Gadkari on Sunday said the Modi government will give a major boost to the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the country. “MSMEs account for 48 per cent of the exports and employ 11 crore people. We are giving a major boost to the MSME sector…it drives the economy,” Gadkari stated.
He was of the opinion that India needs an institute for enterprises and entrepreneurship. He also observed that despite global economic recession, India was the fastest growing economy. The minister also opined that environment and development must go together.
