Govt plans to sell PSUs

While the rest of the country is gearing up to take part in the massive deals that different e-commerce companies are lining up for them, the government seems to have its own mega Diwali sale preparations going on. The disinvestment plan includes Bharat Petroleum Corp. Ltd, BEML, Container Corporation of India and Shipping Corporation of India. It is also reportedly moving ahead with the plan to sell its stake in Air India.  The government hopes to raise Rs 1.05 lakh crore from disinvestment in the current financial year.
