Social and Economic Impact of COVID-19 on India and Recovery Potential

The first case of COVID-19 in India was reported on January 30, 2020. As of April 14, confirmed cases of COVID-19 stand at 10363. While 1035 patients have recovered, 339 have died. Most of the cases in India are from local transmission, where people either travelled to COVID-19 infected countries, or came in contact with people who had travel history to these countries.
