Govt, exporters hope USTR goes slow on retaliatory levy

The authorities and exporters are hoping that the US Trade Representative (USTR) goes slow on the proposed retaliatory tariff on 40 objects, together with basmati rice, shrimps and a number of other gems and jewelry merchandise, in response to India’s digital service tax (DST).
