Govt Contemplating PLI Scheme For Furnishings To Increase Home Manufacturing: Report

The federal government is contemplating a production-linked incentive (PLI) scheme for sure forms of furnishings and the proposal is on the dialogue stage, in response to a PTI report. The PLI scheme is aimed toward boosting home manufacturing and exports, in addition to creating jobs.
