Trade Promotion Council of India (TPCI) organised a virtual Workshop & training programme on Export Finance & Forex Solution for Indian Exporters (Chemical & Allied Products) with the support of the Department of Commerce, Government of India on 8th and 9th February 2022.

The workshop & training session was conducted in a demonstration platform set- up by the Trade Promotion Council of India (TPCI). Each speaker made a presentation and address the replies of the questions arising during the multiple session spanning for two days.

The TPCI member exporters numbering around 250 attended the various sessions from across India hailing from chemical and allied products category. Each session was followed by a 20-25 mins Q&A session.

Shri Manish Chadha, Joint Secretary of EP (CAP), Department of Commerce, Government of India, delivered the keynote address on 8th February 2022 (Tuesday). He appreciated TPCI’s efforts to conduct this workshop and training session and wished industry good luck and benefit from the session.

Shri Chadha also spoke on the paradigm shift in doing business post Covid 19 and highlighted the importance of engaging with the virtual mode. He also emphasized that chemical and allied sector has huge potential for exports and motivated businesses to better leverage this potential. 

The three hour session on both the days were addressed by speakers hailing from ECGC, ICICI Bank, Myforexi and Ex Banker.  Shri Vijay Kumar Gauba, Additional Director General TPCI delivered the welcome remark and welcomed joint secretary, speakers and all the attendees.

The attendees congratulated TPCI for hosting this wonderful session. The session was moderated by Sameer Pushp, Director Media & Corporate Communications, TPCI.
