TPCI organized India Pavilion in Source India Kenya 2017 with 25 member companies

The first and largest of its kind India show in Kenya “Source India Kenya 2017” was held at the Kenyatta International Convention Center (KICC), Nairobi from 11th to 13th January 2017.
The show was the largest of its size with a participation of around 90 Indian companies from sectors like Education, Auto Components, Healthcare & Pharmaceutical, Building and Construction, Engineering, Food and Agriculture with over 1000 business visitors from Kenya and East African countries.
The show was organized by Pro Trade Group with the support of Trade Promotion Council of India and Kenyan agencies like Kenya National Chamber of Commerce & Industry, East African Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture and Kenyan Investment Authority – KenInvest.
The inauguration ceremony of the show had presence of H.E. Rajesh Swami, Deputy High Commissioner, High Commission of India, Nairobi, Mr. Charles N Kahuthu, CEO, EACCIA, Mr. Laban Onditi Rao, National Vice Chairman, KNCCI, Mr. Pius Rotich, General Manager, KenInvest.
TPCI organized India Pavilion in the show with a participation of 25 industry members in the event. TPCI ensured their effective participation, allowing the exhibitors to network and cross-fertilize valuable synergies.
Mr. Thomas James, Assistant Director, TPCI gave presentation on India-Kenya business prospects and relations. Mr. James stressed about the initiatives taken by both the countries, top trading products between the countries, potential sectors in Kenya to focus and how Source India as a business platform shall complement in enhancing trade investment and bilateral relations between the two countries.
