TPCI organized Source India East Africa at Nairobi, Kenya

TPCI organised Source India East Africa with the support of Department of Commerce, Government of India. The event was inaugurated today by Shri Rohit Vadhwana, IFS, Deputy High Commissioner Of India to Kenya at Nairobi, Kenya.

The Source India East Africa event, organized by TPCI with the backing of the Department of Commerce, Government of India, was inaugurated today in Nairobi, Kenya by Shri Rohit Vadhwana, IFS, Deputy High Commissioner of India to Kenya.

Also present during the inauguration were Charles Kahutu, CEO, East African Chamber of Commerce, Heather Munyao, Director. Kenya Investment Authority (KenInvest) Promotion Authority, Tony Wamala, Director- East Africa Entrepreneurs Associations (EAEA), Mbithe Yoma, East Africa Business Council, Rosalin wambui, CEO, Retail Trade Association of Kenya and Gauri Sankar Rao, Chairman, India Kenya Business Council.

Forty seven Indian exporters of food and beverages & packaging materials showcased their products at Souce India East Africa. On the first day, the event saw a footfall of 200+ buyers from Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia & Uganda.

The two day business event is expecting a footfall of 400+ buyers from East African countries apart from Exclusive Visits and B2B meetings with 3 major supermarkets of Kenya viz Naivas Supermarkets, Magunas & Quickmart Supermarket having 94, 10 & 60 supermarkets in Kenya respectively.
