TPCI Jt. Director General met top officials of Iran Chamber of Commerce

TPCI Jt. Director General Mr. Kapil Gupta meeting Mr. Abolfazl Rahnama H., Ambassador Director General for Bilateral Relations, Iran Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Ebrahim Jamili, President, Iran-India Business Council and Mr. Parham Rezaei, Inspector, Iran-India Business Council on 24^th May 2017 at the office of Iran Chamber.

The meeting was held on the pretext of the TPCI organizing an Indian delegation participating in Iran Agro Food Show held during 23-26 May 2017 at Tehran, Iran. The officials discussed about their activities and initiatives taken from time to time to promote their industries on the globe. This paved way for understanding the valuable synergy that can be explored between the two organisation working together in promoting trade and relation between India and Iran.

During the meet, the officials also discussed about the prospects and dimensions of growth Indio-Iran relations and business interest and how to tap the emerging opportunities between the two countries. In the same direction the two organizations have agreed to sign a MoU for mutual cooperation and joint working.

The MOU is expected to cover key areas of international cooperation including exchange of information on trade policies and measures adopted by countries, organizing and hosting of business delegation to either countries by either organisation spreading word of support, cooperation and mutual benefits of joint working amongst their industry members. By this it is expected to rejuvenate the Indo-Iran trade and partnership to advanced level.
