High Commission of Ghana & Trade Promotion Council of India co-organised a roundtable conference

A 10-member delegation from Ghana led by Mrs.Gufty Oehen Konandu, CEO “One District One Factory” project of Govt. of Ghana visited India from 6th to 13th November,2017.

High commission of Ghana and Trade Promotion Council of India co-organised a round table conference on 10th November, 2017 at High Commission of Ghana, Satya Marg, Chanakyapuri.

TPCI delegation was led by Mr. M.K. Parimoo, Secretary General with representatives each from Ministry of MSME, Banking sectors, representatives from Indian industry including SEZ’s. H.E. Mr. Michael Aoron Nii Nortey Oquaye, the High Commission of Ghana to India welcomes the delegations and invited the two sides to exchange views. It was informed that ‘One District One Factory’ was the initiative of the Govt. of Ghana for which Indian investors were very much welcomed to paticipate. Mr. M.K Parimoo said that TPCI was glad to co-organise this event and would encourage its members to participae in the ‘One District One Factory’ project of Govt. of Ghana. He also added that TPCI would be happy to sign MOUs with its counterpart chambers in Ghana to facilitate trade and investment between two countries. The representative from the Ministry of MSME also spoke about the MSME scenario in India and about possibilities of cooperation with Ghana. The rountable was held in a very cordial environment.
