India is predicted to post the strongest growth among the major countries this year, and the nation’s economy is currently experiencing the “famous snowball effect.” The growth will encourage additional investments and job creation.

When a snowball starts to roll, it gets bigger and bigger, and the Indian economy is currently experiencing the same. “The growth will lead to more investments, more jobs… it will be an exponential growth in the coming years and you will see a situation where more poverty is eradicated and more opportunities are there for young people,” said World Economic Forum (WEF) President Borge Brende, while speaking to PTI.

According to him, India’s economy would increase by about 6% this year, which will be the biggest growth of any major economy in the world.“We, at WEF, see the growth path forward for India that is also strong… Overall, I am optimistic, provided there are no external factors that will influence negatively. We have no time for wars, conflicts and we have no time to be complacent,” he stated.

The largest economy in South Asia, India, is predicted to grow by 5.8% in 2023 and 6.7% in 2024 on a calendar-year basis, according to a report released earlier this month by the United Nations. This growth will be fueled by strong domestic demand.
