7 states on top under ease of doing business

Based on the implementation of the business reform action plan 2020, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are the top achievers in the ranking of states and Union Territories for the ease of doing business. Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, and Madhya Pradesh are the other states categorised as achievers in the ranking, according to a report released by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.

Seven states have been added in aspires category including Assam, Kerala and Goa. There are 11 states and UTs, including Delhi, Puducherry and Tripura in the category of emerging business ecosystems.
