DESCRIPTION:Trade Promotion Council of India is organising the “Source India” in Turkey during September 6-10\, 2019.  Several successful editions of the Source India shows have been organised by TPCI across the world. Source India Turkey is trade show-cum-BSM (Buyer-Seller Meet) with a focus on cost effective promotion of Indian exporters in Turkey and to facilitate direct access to potential buyers and influential decision makers. \nTurkey is the 17th largest economy of the world\, with a GDP of US$ 851.55 billion in 2017 (World Bank)\, growing by 7.4% yoy. Turkey’s merchandise exports were valued at US$ 157 billion in 2017\, while imports stood at US$ 233.8 billion (WTO)\, leading to a negative trade balance of US$ 76.8 billion. India’s exports to Turkey reached US$ 5.1 billion in 2017-18\, growing by 10% yoy. Top items of export from India include  medium oils and fuels\, man-made filaments and staple fibres\, automotive spare parts and accessories\, organic chemicals etc. There is significant trade potential for both countries within the existing product basket.   \nInterested members may kindly contact Ms. Shalini Choudhary – tradefair@tpci.in – for participation and registration in the event.
