SUMMARY:FDT Food and Drink Technology Africa
DESCRIPTION:TPCI with the support of Ministry of Commerce and Industry is organizing an India Pavilion in the “FDT Food and Drink Technology Africa” during July 9-11\, 2019. It is an international trade fair for the food and beverage industry\, which takes place biennially in Johannesburg. \nAfrica is an important growth market that presents considerable potential and positive long-term prospects in the food and beverage sector for international companies. This is where FDT Africa steps in\, because it offers companies the desired access to the African market. \nExhibitors showcase the latest innovations and technologies for safe\, hygienic and efficient production and packaging of food & beverages as well as current developments and trends along the entire value chain. The previous trade fair exceeded & witnessed with a turnout of around 1\,550 participants from 35 countries. \nSouth Africa imported US$ 5.7 billion of Food & Beverages in the year 2017\, wherein India exported around US$ 229.6 million\, capturing 4% of South Africa’s F&B market.
