About the Forum
India’s vision of Viksit Bharat 2047 places exports at the centre of economic growth, industrial competitiveness, employment generation, and global market integration. Gujarat, one of India’s most industrialised and export-driven states, continues to play a leading role through its strong industrial base, globally connected ports, entrepreneurial ecosystem, and leadership across sectors such as chemicals, pharmaceuticals, engineering, food processing, textiles, and technology.
India is deepening its engagement with global markets through FTAs and CEPAs with the UAE, Australia, ASEAN, Japan, South Korea, and ongoing negotiations with the United Kingdom and the European Union. These agreements are opening new opportunities for Indian industries to expand exports, strengthen global partnerships, and integrate into international value chains.
