India ranked 4th for tech investments

India is ranked 4th among the top overseas investment destinations for London technology companies over the past decade, according to official data released by London & Partners, the Mayor of London’s inward investment agency. Bengaluru was ranked 6th for tech companies seeking international expansion, beating New York, Dublin, Shanghai and Beijing. Between April 2009 to March 2019, India’s investments into London covered 36 projects by 22 companies, involving capex of around 523 million pounds. While it was ranked 4th, Indian investments created 5,310 jobs, ahead of second and third ranked Germany and Australia.
